Communication and Media Studies

The Communication and Media Studies major shapes ethically responsible and skillful communicators able to navigate an increasingly media-saturated, diverse, and complex global environment. Our dynamic program includes classes in strategic communication, media production, digital media, and communication studies.

Penguin Radio

Penguin Radio is Dominican’s award-winning radio station, broadcasting more than 100 Dominican events worldwide on radio.dominican.edu and locally on 102.3 FM. Student Sportscasters broadcast Dominican’s NCAA Athletic events on radio and television, while Radio Students host their own professional-level radio shows and podcasts. Penguin Radio has been broadcasting music, news, and sports 24/7 since 2000.
